GroundSure's Report Cancellation Policy has now come into full effect. Please review the policy conditions as below for your future reference when cancelling any residential or commercial report:
Residential Reports:
This includes the GroundSure Homebuyers and GroundSure Planning
No cancellations are allowed- there are no exceptions to this rule
Commercial Reports:
No cancellations if the report in question has already been returned to you.
Exceptions to this rule apply only if the circumstances are as follows:
Ø If a report has been generated but not sent out, you will be charged 50% of the report price
Ø If a report is cancelled but has not been sent out and another ordered to replace the cancelled report, the 50% cancellation fee will be waived
Ø If a report is cancelled after the report is sent out, you will incur the full price of the report as per your contract.
This policy is now active and GroundSure will be enforcing all cancellations in line with the statements above.

We are pleased to announce that, any customers who order a Radon Search from Radon Protection have thus far received their results by post with a typical turnaround time of 21 days. As part of our ongoing service development, effective from August 18th we now provide the Radon Search on existing properties within 2 days and at no extra cost. Furthermore, all results are returned electronically in line with the majority of searches from SearchFlow.
Please note that the information contained in each report will remain the same and the method of ordering also remains unchanged. The only differences you will notice are the methods of reception and the vast improvement in turnaround time.

Liverpool City Council has informed SearchFlow that, due to their systems having faulted, they are not currently able to accept and distribute electronic orders for local authority searches, nor are they able to electronically return results for the same.
Orders received on or more recently than 24th June may not have been received by this data provider. If you have submitted an order in this time without having received your results, please contact your dedicated SearchFlow helpdesk or regional representative, who will help to retrieve your search. Whilst LCC attempt to resolve this issue, SearchFlow encourages all clients who require this service to order a SearchFlow personal search.
Following an announcement from NTL, SearchFlow advises that the fee for NTL General Enquiries has increased to £55.50 plus VAT.
This fee represents a data provider fee increase only - the SearchFlow fee remains unchanged. This fee is in anticipation of a new, streamlined service that will be implemented over the course of this year. Whilst the new service is developed, clients may realise that searches are taking a little longer to turn around than usual. NTL assure all clients that they will have the new system in operation at the earliest opportunity.

All commercial properties (non-dwellings) over 2500 square metres in size in England & Wales now require an EPC for construction, sale or lease. By October, all commercial properties in England & Wales will require one, regardless of size.
SearchFlow now offers commercial EPCs via a panel of three leading national EPC providers. You will receive an estimate within 24 hours of submitting your property information, and you may specify whether you or your client should be the point of contact.

We would like to advise our customers that in order to complete a final phase of price harmonisation across our portfolio of services and clients, there will be a number of price adjustments that will take effect from June 19th 2008.
The key price changes are as follows:

A number of land registry searches have also been adjusted to ensure a common pricing approach. These include some reductions in price.
Please note that there is no increase on CON29R fees. Prices exclude VAT. There are no other changes to the terms and conditions revised in January 2008.
